A bit about me!

Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my blog, I hope you’re all well! I figured there was no excuse for not getting this up and running given the lockdown situation. Hopefully my ramblings will give you a bit of distraction from all that’s going on at the moment.

I guess I should let you know a little bit about me….well I’m Martyn Hathaway! I’ve got to be honest, I’m used to being the one behind the camera, the one that isn’t the center of attention…so writing about me is a bit odd!!

I first started photography about 7 years ago. I’ve always wanted to have a go at photography but never actually taken the steps to do it. So when my wife needed some images for the business she was running, we figured it would make sense for me to learn! Turns out I loved it!!

So, taking a few product images quickly turned into lifestyle, landscape, pet, equine, portraiture and now…weddings!! I love it all. Constantly learning and developing as a photographer while adapting to any situation and environment is very challenging and so exciting!!

That’s a little about my photography journey, I’m not going to bore you any more about that. This blog is going to be a bit of my general goings on…from photography, to life, to being a horse husband (I’ll explain that later!) and everything in between. I hope it’s a way for you to get to know me and hopefully I can get to know some of you as well.

So that’s just a quick intro…I’ll try to post regularly so don’t forget to follow me on the various social platforms for updates!!
